Local Music and Local Pride

Local Music and Local Pride

I’ve been doing some research for something else and have discovered some new musicians, so I wanted to share them with you all! They are as follows:

Years to Burn (@yearstoburnband on social media)

IssaBel (@issabel_music on Instagram)

Tinted Wisdom (@tintedwisdom on Tiktok)

Neurotypes (on Spotify)

In the past few weeks, I’ve been taking a good tour of the downtown area and have found a bunch of shops. I think it would be a good tourist spot to visit if you’re in the area.

Quality Creations – A shop with work from a variety of local artists, artisans, crafters and more. Located right on the main stretch and always a delight to go in.

Olde Magick – It’s a beautiful store for all things witchy, crystals, collectables, games, and antiques, and it hosts a lovely lending library. The Facebook page is here if you’re interested in looking into it more.

Outpost Cafe—This cute cafe is run by a local church. It helps the community while providing excellent-baked goods, good food, fantastic coffee, and more drinks.

Best of Farmers Market – Like Quality Creations, this has work from various community members and is geared towards our local economy.

River Home & Co–  A home decor Boutique with many cute pieces and always something new when popping in.

South Grenville Beacon – It’s not a place however if you are in the area I recommend looking at the paper if the chance comes up; it has things that have been happening from Prescott and the surrounding area and can give you an idea of things going on that may not be advertised or well known.

Besides that, they now have popup shops by the harbour, and im told they have excellent food and are very lovely on a hot summer day if you’re touring. They will have live music by the harbour in the outdoor theatre, plays and more in the summer and im quite excited to see the waterfront come to life with the chance to tour.

Thats all I have for today, and I will be back with some newer content as soon as im happy with it.

Till Next Time,

Meg
