I feel like I’ve been in a whirlwind since I last wrote. Ive made a few creative things since; Ive made a few bags, done some embroidery projects, fixed some dresses, and im planning a few more projects but unsure of where they will end up. 

One of the embroidery projects is a black tote bag that I’m making with some flowers on one side and vines and leaves on the other. I learned a new stitch for it, and im experimenting with a few more. It’s been fun, and im enjoying what im learning. 

I’ve also been working on drawing and even got a close likeness of three people I drew. Wee Man and I have done some watercolor painting, he likes it so far, but I have to get some more watercolor paints as im low on quite a few colors; He’s got a lot of talent and im excited to see where he goes.  

As for books, ive read two from the Vera Stanhope series and im loving the stories and character development as the stories go on. I’m mainly through Hidden Depths; it’s the third book that shows more of the characters I love from the show. 

The weather is quite toasty here, with the humidity making it 43 degrees out. I will still take it over snow, though. Im enjoying the coolness inside and taking the time to get some blog maintenance done, listening to some music (Years to Burn and others), and watching some movies.

Yellow has been on my mind lately, so I will paint my nails bright yellow today. And it will be pretty friendly and cheerful to match the season and my mood. I am off to clean and prep my meals for tonight’s shift. I hope your days are lovely, and I will see you soon with a new post!
