So I was a dingus and sprained my ankle at work, which has made me come home the last two days and ice my ankle as much as possible to hope it heals a bit before my next shift. I was looking for something to listen to while I ice my ankle, and the only thing that captured my attention was stuff on true crime or serial killers, which got me thinking: What is it about true crime and serial killers that is somehow so intriguing?
Everyone could be interested in something they have in common, something they can’t connect with. I mean, there are so many things it could be. For me, it’s knowing that there are things that could be worse, knowing there’s still good in the world, and knowing that people are trying to catch those who are committing various crimes. It’s also interesting to see how the changes in tech have made things easier to find and share the stories of those involved with the crimes (victims, family, survivors, detectives, etc.).
Anywho, im not sure where I want to go with this now, so im going to head off and do some crocheting. I will see you soon with a new post.
