This past weekend i ended up getting some … well alot of sun (im burnt but i enjoyed myself), saw some animals, a bit of the tractor pulls, and derby and had a lot of fun. It was the Spencerville Fair and i had the best time, i saw lots of people i knew, entered a few raffles and found some amazing authors. 

I worked the gates on one day and it was a lovely time, i saw a lot of the animals coming in, seen the horse show while doing what i needed to do. Im not a hat person but it was so hot that i had to get a hat to help me from getting severely burnt so I ended up getting a peterbuilt ball cap  and getting one to match for Cinaed. The hat made me think of when I was a kid and remember some good people. Cinaed joined me for a bit, and we got some good food before leaving. 

The fair was on till Sunday, and I didn’t intend to be there for the whole weekend; however, I ended up going back on  Saturday with Fiadh, and we ended up having a really good time and saw a bunch of animals and everything else it offered before going for a drive. We also went out for brunch and did a run to Walmart and Winners before hand.  

Sunday i went back with Mint and Wee Man for the rides, derby and crafts and things. Wee Man potentially won something, but we looked everywhere and couldn’t find it, so I’m hoping we just missed it. There, we ran into some friends and went around with them for rides and snacks before they had to leave. It was alot of fun and worth the sunburn as it made so many memories and made up for missing it the last few years. 

On Friday, I ran into Leah Lindeman and Grace R Pringle; they have really good books. I have one on my wishlist, and the rest are stacked beside me, waiting to be read. They are both amazing authors, and im looking forward to when i get Silver Blood (by Grace) as it sounds amazing, but I couldn’t carry any more as I had too much in my hands. To sum it up it was a good weekend and I feel much more human than I did by the end of last week. I got many pictures of cows and things and it was so much fun, you will see more of the pictures as I post more as I got a few specifically for the blog.  I’m off to get ready for work here and I will see you soon with a new post!
