This past weekend was fabulous. You will find out why once I finish another post. I have something ready here, though; I have three new books for my collection and a new journal to keep track of all my books.
The Journal is The Book Lovers Journal (My Personal Reading Record). It only has the latest three books to add to my collection and it will be pretty handy to see what I have and any notes I have on the book.
The new books for my collection are Bulfinch’s Mythology, Three Shots To The Wind, and The Highland Commander.
Bulfinch’s Mythology by Thomas Bulfinch. It’s a beautiful hardcover with gold embossing on the cover, a lovely illustration of some of the mythologies represented in the book along the inner pagination and gold along the outer pages. It covers everything from Greek, Roman, and Arthurian legends and so much more; I’m not very far in, but it’s quite good so far.
Three Shots to the Wind by Sherry Harris. I’d never read her work before, but the cover intrigued me, so I figured I’d try it, and it was at a reasonable price. The main character seems lively, and I’m excited to get into this cozy reading.
The Highland Commander by Amy Jarecki. The Title and the color of the spine are what got me; it’s a nice green color with a yellow and white print. I haven’t read much romance in the last bit, and a historical romance has not been read in even longer; the price was also reasonable, and I look forward to opening it after editing this post and curling up for the night.
All in all, this weekend was perfect for so many reasons, and I will treasure the memories created with one of my favorite people. That’s all I have for you now; I’ll post more shortly!
Till Next Time,
Meg
