The Lion King Musical  Review

Im a lover of all things The Lion King. I have a  simba tattoo and  I have  the movie committed to memory. My friend surprised me with tickets to see the musical for my birthday gift and it was amazing! We went out window shopping before hand and I got a new tattoo (very cute and not red anymore), and it was the best ending to the day.

The first act was very similar to the movie with some other songs thrown in there. The cast came up the aisles during the circle of life with Nants Ingonyama and it was magical. I didn’t have any words for the entire thing, I was crying for part of the first act and I was grabbing my friends hand during the parts I wanted to fidget or was overcome with emotion.

The second half was with some songs I’ve never heard before but I was moved the entire time and the transitions are amazing. He fit scenes and the sass from Ed was perfect. The newer songs are amazing and bring more to the story and I’m hoping to see the musical again. It felt like a once in a lifetime event and I will never forget it (I hope at least). It’s family friendly, for all ages and it doesn’t disappoint .

Anywho in short, I highly recommend  seeing  The Lion King  Musical, it shouldn’t be a surprise as I have loved The Lion King  movie for 30 years and probably will till the day I die.  If you get a chance to  see it, take it and I hope you have the best time.

I’m sending a big thank you to the Timon to my Pumba for the surprise, and I will never be able to thank you enough for the experience. I hope you have a lovely rest of your day and  I will see you soon with a new post.

Till Next Time,

Meg
