Tell us about your first day at something — school, work, as a parent, etc.
My first day at my job was interesting. It’s a rather busy place and I had to learn the routines of the three rotations, the routines of the residents, how to do a lot of smaller things while keeping things going as smoothly as possible.
Things still don’t go as smoothly as I’d like it to be, however I learn something new everyday whether it be from a resident, from myself or from one of my coworkers (or one of the care partners). Sometimes it can get quite busy and I do what I can but even doing what you can doesn’t always get everything done.
I’m not sure if it will ever be a fluidly quiet or busy day but I’m happy with being in the residents lives and doing what I can to make it as easy and as enjoyable as I can.
Till Next Time,
Meg
