A Review of: The life of a showgirl – Taylor Swift

I bit the bullet and listened to the full album and its making me think. I loved most of the songs on the album, it makes me think of early 2000’s not caring what others think music. I feel like some musicans have always thought like that but I think this one has more of that vibe then others I’ve heard latelty. Granted its been a rock/alt rock mood lately so I haven’t been listening to anything pop, country or other genres; It’s wanning currently and im not as interested in Rock or alt music as much anymore so maybe this will be in rotation more.

The Album consists of the folowing songs:

The Fate of Ophelia

Elizabeth Taylor

Opalite

Father Figure

Eldest Daughter

Ruin the Friendship

Actually Romantic

Wi$h Li$t

Wood

CANCELLED!

Honey

The Life of a Showgirl

There is also another verison called the The Life of a Showgirl (Track by Track Version).

The songs that are most interesting to me are (in no particular order): Eldest Daughter, Actually Romatic, Wood, The Fate of Ophelia, The Life of a Showgirl and Honey. Opalite has a beat thats very familiar, I just can’t place it right now. I’m listening to the track by track version as I write this and im liking the breakdown of the songs and what has inspired them.

Thats all I really have for this, I’m going to vibe along to the album while I go about the apartment before bed here. I hope you have a lovely rest of you’re day!

Till Next Time,

Meg
