Today has been eventful; made some notes for some people on my chirstmas list, done some house keeping, washed/dried and put away two loads of laundry, danced to some music with Wayne, bagged some christmas gifts and I’m now sitting down to do some admin stuff I’ve put off for a few days.
The dancing around the living room was my favorite part of the day, it was spontanious and made me feel very light and floaty if that makes sense. We still need to go shopping for some people, deliver some things and its feeling more christmasy then it has for me in quite a few years. Christmas isnt that high on my list of holidays i enjoy, however this year feels different – not in the music way (im not a fan besides the grinch songs) but in the energy the season brings.
The grinch has been playing more lately and trying to read/listen to more festive books, and board games are being played more (mostly scrabble). Wayne is doing his holiday baking and it smells amazing; I’m a tester while he bakes each recipie, it’s a lovely job and I’m enjoying the random sampling.
