Library Sales and Other Shenanigans

Lifes been hecktic lately. It feels very busy yet not super productive, so here is a lift of some of the things ive gotten up too in the last month or so!

The library had a sale to cull some books to get more space for newer items,so I ended up getting 4 or so bags full of books for myself and i picked up 2 bags for Cinaed and Wayne picked up several for himself. It went to a good cause and it was really sweet, they had a bake sale set up by the circulation desk and nice bags to fill.

I also went on a road trip to Toronto and i enjoyed the few days up there. I got some swiming done, writing and walking around; on one of my days I explored the mall to see what was there and picked up a few items I’ve been putting off buying but saved up to buy.

Wayne got gifted a matching set and I found a sweatshirt top to match his among some other things needed. Its been my goal to get things that are higher quality and not go for cheap things that will not last and have to be replaced quickly, and im doing better then i have been and im finding it to be a good slow switch.

Some of the items I picked up was a button up shirt, a cozy half zip sweatshirt, a pair of flip flops (in yellow), a half button down sweatshirt, a bathing suit and socks. It wasnt a whole lot but it was some things I did need to replace and looking back now they are all in the color pallet that is better for me according to the color analysis I’ve seen all over social media (soft summer).

While in toronto I ate a lot of delicious asian foods and treated myself to starbucks coffee and breakfast. I tried the Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew, and an Iced Caramel Macchiato on the mornings we were there. I also tried the Mango Dragon Fruit Lemonaide Refresher during an afternoon pick me up and i wasnt the biggest fan of the dragon fruit chunks on top but I like it seperatly if I’m eating it.

Before we left I picked up a Decaf Iced Caramel Macchiato for the road cause i was feeling tired but didnt want to sleep on the drive back. It was a longer drive and caffiene is not my friend after 12pm, but it made for a good roadtrip drive. It was a beautiful drive back and we had some good music playing.

I haven’t been doing too much since getting back besides working, spending time with Wayne and Beef, talking with friends/family, writing and playing some games in my down time. Scrabble has been something that we have been playing more and its been getting competitive, its still fun but im determined to get better then Wayne, and it will happen!

Im not sure how to end this post so im going to leave it here. I hope you have a lovely rest of you’re day and I will see you soon with a new post.

Till Next Time,

Meg
