Some Products I Like

Some Products I Like

I found some really good products that are helping with the yo-yoing of the weather we are having in canada right now. To preface I have rosacea, dry sensitive skin and randomly break out into hives/rashes so most of what I use is hydrating and contain aloe or shea butter to have lasting moisturizing. Lets get to the products!

For my hair I use the following;

Attitude Nourishing shampoo and Conditioner: Found at costco, I’m not sure where else they are found but I like the way my scalp feels, my hair seems to last longer between washes, and leaves my hair moisturized and smells nicly mild.

L’Oreal Paris Total Repair Restoring Mask for Damaged hair: I used to use this more in the winter are my hair is struggling to keep moisturized. I find using this once a week or smaller amounts used with my conditioner if my hair isnt doing good helps to keep it healthy.

Pantene Curl Reshaping Lotion: Between washes I use a small amount of this to help keep my hair from getting frizzy. I found this on a whim and I’m very happy this worked out, its a light product and helps to keep me from losing my mind when over stimulated and braiding my hair. Highly recomend.

For my face I use the following;

Option + Gentle Skin Cleanser for senstive skin: This is a more recent purchase but ive been liking it. Its nice, doesnt leave my skin feeling dry, a little goes a long way and it was on sale so I’m going to get my moneys worth from the bottle.

Findley Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid All in one Serum: I found this at winner and figured it was worth the $9 it cost to see if it worked with my moistuizer to keep my skin from getting dry longer. Its light but my skin has stayed nicely moisturized for my longer out of the house days.

PUR-est Aloe Vera Cream: This is a ponds knock off, its very light but long lasting, I highly reccomend it. I found this for $1.25 at the local dollar bazare, they have it in constantly.

TonyMoly I’m Green Tea Hydro-Burst Morning Mask: I use this when im having a Rosacea flare up or if im loooking more tired then id like too. Its moisturizing and makes me look like i glow after using this. Found on Amazon

Quo Beauty H2O Cooling Stick: I found this in the clearance secion at Shoppers and figured this may help while I’m out and about and my skin feels like its burning. Its quite nice and it will be lovely for summer as I burn quite easily. Theres no scent to it, its not heavy on the skin and its aloe based and hydration lasts a long time.

Other items i use in general;

Marc Jacobs Dasiy Wild: I used to use Marc Jacobs so sweet however I got a sample pack of the dasiy scents. I wasnt sure if I would like this one but I’m very much enjoying it. The bigger bottle is quite nice, the flower decorations fit the scent very well.

Bath and Body Works A Thousand Wishes: I’ve had this for years but I havent used it as much over the years as I worked in health care and strong scents arent reccomended. I moslty use this around the house making the bed and couches smell nice but sometimes use it before I leave the house.

EOS 24H Moisture Hydration 24H shea better Shave Cream: I’ve used several different save creams and this one seems to keep my skin feeling moisturized for longer then 24H. It lasts for about 40 or so hours personally, it may not work for everybody but its something I do reccomend if someone is looking for a good shave cream.

Simmer Pots: Simmer pots help to put moiture in the air which helps to keep skin from being too dry. I have one with Orange slices and cinnamon currently and its not a product to use on the skin but it does help with dry skin, and keeps the house smelling nice.

That’s all that I use in general, most of them are bought on sale and on a whim to see if they will actually work. 99% of the time they which im thankful for. If you have simialr issues with skin these may work for you, I’m not a medical professional so I would take what I say with a grain of salt if you have any concerns.

Till Next Time,

Meg
