Podcasts and Bobba Tea Popsicles

One of my soul siblings and I were talking about voices and how some are perfect for falling asleep, background noise and, in some cases, podcasts. It led to a conversation I had with one of my friends about how she thinks I should record books for her to listen to as she falls asleep.  In that vein, it led to us talking about how I would be interested in podcasting; however, I wouldn’t want to do it alone, nor do I have an idea of what it would be about.

We talked it over, and we are in the talking stages of maybe a podcast about whatever we feel like talking about; we share a brain cell most of the time, so it should be interesting. Im going to look into recording some stories, but I need to make sure it’s not one that will get me in trouble for copyright reasons. Thats all I have for now; I will continue it tomorrow.

So it’s been two days since I started this, I decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and take the Wee Pup on a longer walk (about 45 minutes), and we took a slightly different route, and Wee Pup made lots of friends in a few kids in a neighbourhood; we could leave after I promised to bring him by again, so they could give him more treats. With the nicer weather, im trying to get the pup out more cause it’s long days when we are at work, and it’s good for both of us to get out and get some sunlight.

…..

So I did it; I now have a podcast for the blog and am working towards getting a podcast set up with a friend and me, so I will update you when that happens. I haven’t recorded anything in my own voice yet, im a wee bit scared, too, but I did do an introduction with my own voice so that the tester, for lack of a better word.

The podcast is available on; Anchor Podcasts (Spotify), and im figuring out the rest of the possible places it can go. It may be a few days before I can get it all sorted.  I used Spotify for a while personally, but I dont anymore, so it may be a little funky getting the podcast side of it sorted.

Besides that, I started a new book called The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson, it’s not bad so far, im not super hooked yet, but I like the narrator and im intrigued by the story.

Thats all I have; it’s been a lovely weekend out in the sun, and I gotta get off to prepare for the work week.

Till Next Time,

Meg
