So I’m not sure how to write this, but I need to get my thoughts out, so here goes.
*I feel like I’m exhausted yet exhilarated; I have managed to get so many things done.
*I’ve managed to clear some space in the apartment and I’m on my third load of laundry
*I trimmed my hair to connect with my growing undercut
*I sorted out my closet for optimal use while still storing what I could need to access.
*Ive figured out how I’m going to mix the squares I have crocheted into my blanket and make it a truly strange thing yet super cozy.
*I plotted out the rough draft of what I want to make for the next video and podcast about (separate things).
*I mixed my caffeine-free chocolate protein shake with mint tea to make a protein mint latte; it’s pretty good. I’m going to try it with hot milk next time and see if it works better.
*David Attenborough is an international treasure and must be protected at all costs.
*Sleeping on freshly dried sheets is lovely and I’m going to enjoy that later when editing this.
*I’m going to try my hand at making a pillow with an upcycled shirt and sleep shorts; I will update you on how that goes.
*Folding laundry is still boring but marginally better with a good history documentary in the background. Or rock music? I’m not sure why, but those two are my go-to background noises for folding laundry.
*Time off is cherished and family time more so.
*Tea is lovely, but it does not wake me up fast enough when I work early in the morning and give myself 2 hours to get ready. It works well for days I’m off and can sit, relax, and slowly wake up.
*I downloaded several new books to my Kobo e-reader, and I’m excited to curl up on my day off Sunday with a book and cup of tea and slowly wake up.
*I bought a huge steel lined cup (holds a large amount of coffee/peach juice), and it’s worth the cost by far. I’m so happy I got it.
*Soon, I’ll be able to braid my hair with all of it, and I’m so excited to try a few braids ive seen online and have saved so I’m able to find them easily.
I dont know if this will get posted, but I feel calmer just getting these words out. I honestly dont know how to end this, but I think I’m going to curl up and start adding my squares to my blanket and enjoy my tea and the time I have till tomorrow’s shift. If you have made it this far, I hope your day is lovely, and I will see you soon with a new post!
Till Next Time,
Meg
