I just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir and i loved it! Its one of the books on Waynes list to read and I wasnt sure if i would like it, however I am very happy with reading it and ended up in tears as it was finished. The original plan was to have it listened to before the movie came out however that didnt happen; so I’ve been avoiding everything clip and trailer wise for the movie (till after saturday).
The polt is well paced and writing stlye is good. I like the flipping between present to the past, it was perfect for figuring out the solution to the currrent problem or dropping hints for it. I was talking to myself as I listened to it and my neighbours may or may not think im a little nutty based on what I was saying. A side benefit of finishing Project Hail Mary is that i want to listen to more books, in my library is A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas and Fourth Wing and im torn between which one I will read but they have good reviews and my friends enjoy them.
The movie was good, it felt rushed in some areas but it was a extremly good movie considering all they had to fit in the movie. I loved how they portrayed Rocky and everything about him. I wasnt the biggest fan of rocky in the beggining of the book but he won me over by being his adorable self. Its a reccomendation for reading or watching, its well written and put together well for a movie without being too long.
Till Next Time,
Meg
