2026 started out a little rough however it has gotten much lighter as the months have gone on.
I started my therapy program with Royal Ottawa in January, and I have completed it not that long ago now. It was a good program and I feel much better now than going in, I feel more confident and have more solid base to go off of so to speak.
I started golfing more with Wayne and I’m very much enjoying it. My skills have improved and they will continue to improve for a long time most likely. As I mentioned in my last post I have gotten new clubs and I’m getting better each time we go out to the driving range, simulators or to a golf course.
We have been participating more in local events and it’s been pleasant. I’m not feeling as trapped as I once felt and I’m starting to really enjoy living in town. Eventually we will buy a house and may not live as close to town but we are enjoying the perks for now.
On tiktok there were a lot of people talking about their color palette and I decided to jump on the wagon and I found out the colors that suit me best are soft summer. Since finding that out I’ve been slowly adding newer items to my wardrobe that are in the palette and a few pieces that aren’t. As ive been toning up more Ive had to really think about what I wanted to keep and what not to keep clothes wise and I’ve found that I’m replacing more shirts (I’m down one size) and adding skirts/dresses to the wardrobe.
I’m not super comfortable wearing some skirts yet (like golf skirts) but I love a long flowy hippie-esque skirt; I picked one up at the local Rib fest and its very comfy, its a free size so i was a little concerned it wouldnt really fit well but i was pleasantly surprised by it and its becoming one of my favorite things to wear. I’ll put a picture below of the skirt it was calling to me for lack of a better word and it’s very similar to one I had when I was around 9, maybe 10 years old.

In summary, so far I’m much more comfortable in my skin, I’m learning to let go of things and excited to see what the rest of 2026 has to offer!
Till Next Time,
Meg P.S. I did realize some missed things as I was recording and did correct them on the go.
