As you know i have been following a stricter Low histamine diet and i wanted to update you all on how its going!

I weighed myself before fully diving in and i was 236lbs, i wanted to see what differences could happen. i’m feeling physically better, im not as brain fogged, sleeping a little better and my anxiety has gone down to very low. im finding i can eat smaller amounts of things not considered low histamine and not be in pain or uncomfortable which is big progess.

Here is somethe the recipes i reallly liked so far;

I really liked the chicken salad no mayo, i didn add cucumber and carrot to it cause i had to start using up some veggies and they went quite well into it!

I wasnt sure id like this but its so good! It goes well with oatmeal, on some kind of toast, in a wrap with peanut butter. highly reccomend

I did add extra mint to the dressing for the apple cucumber salad, and it was amazing!!! i love mint and it complemented the apples and cucumber so well!

Potatoes are my love language, and this meal was a big favorite. i love this and i will be eattig it atleast once a week going forward.

I made this for a canada day party and it was a hit! even some of the kids there really liked it!

https://www.billyparisi.com/irish-colcannon-recipe i did switch out leeks for bok choi in this recipe as thats what i had handy and it was so good!

Most of the recipes are from throughthefibrofog.com, i have been looking at other resources but ive been using what i learned from the recipes above to make meals or prep some meals.

I have mixed a few ingredients i like into some meals insipred by some the the recipes ive tried. My favorite one has been rice noodles, chicken or turkey, bok choi, broccoli, and a ginger/tumeric/paprika/garlic sauce. I highly reccomend it, its light, can be eatten cold or warm, and can be prepped ahead of time if you need to meal prep!

For the last almost three weeks, i have been using bitepal which i was suggested to try in feburary but i used another instead. Im not really super focused on the calore deficit side but more on being able to feel fueled and not eating too much sugar. One thing i do notice about bitepal, it seems to add more weight to some things so i do check the weight of some foods just cause i noticed a discrepancy and id rather be more accurate or guestamating; i love the app but thats the only thing i noticed so far.

there is a high risk of a variety of heart diseases, diabetes, high colestrol, high blood pressure and a few others so im trying to keep to a balanced diet and im finding it easier to keep to it cause i have a little racoon cheering me on. since ive been following the low histamine diet i have noticed ive lost some weight, i checked this morning and i am at 230lbs. ITs not a big loss, it seems to be coming off slow so i dont think its something to worry about.

I have also been mostly keeping to doing 10 to 15 minutes of yoga/pilates sometimes both daily and have been walking atleast 3000 steps per day. When im doing laundry or cleaning ive been wearing weighted cuffs to work on my stability/balance and i find it helps me focus (not sure why but its a nice side effect). Im more focusing on mobility, fuctionality, and enjoying myself; im not putting pressure on myself, im just living my life.

Thats all i have for you today, i hope you are having a lovely day and i will see you soon with a new post!

Till NExt time,

Meg
