Scrolling Tiktok the other day i heard someone retell a story about calling in sick because Neil The Seal was leaning on their car or in thier driveway and they may not be able to make it in. Locally theres nothing that entertaining to tell a boss that you cant come into a shift for.
the most is like you were snowed in, theres a family emergency or you are sick. its such a small place; its easy to walk to whereever you need to go if you are still able to work. Its one of the downsides to living in a small town but it does make for good exercise and catching pokemon on pokemon go!
