What I’ve read lately

Sorry, it has been a little bit. I had some writer’s block and was feeling blah. I’ll be posting more as this year goes on. That being said on to the books!

I’ve mostly listened to books this past month then read physical books. A friend suggested I give Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series a try, I did and it was amazing, I’m hooked on it. I’ve read foundation and foundation and empire. I’m currently waiting to read the third book in the series called Second Foundation. The other books I’ve listened to have been a few repeats in the past 5months with some new in there as well. They are the following (with links);

Mythology: Mega Collection by Scott Lewis, Narrated by Madison Niederhauser and Oliver Hunt. I highly recommend this, with lots of information and some great stories to help pass on tales from the generations that came before us.

American Gods By Neil Gaiman, Narrated by Ron McLarty, Daniel Oreskes and the rest of the lovely cast.  I have listened to this about .. I can’t even tell you how many times. I love the story and how it’s written. it’s a 10/10.

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie, Narrated by Dan Stevens. It is a classic Mystery novel and well worth the read. Hercule Poirot is a lovely man and a Great Detective.

Homeless Bodies and Other stories By Laura Purcell, Narrated by Anne Aldington. This is an audible only feature and it is something I highly recommend people listen too.

Vendetta In Death By J.D. Robb, I love this series, I am 100% hooked.

Brotherhood In Death By J.D. Robb, I had to put this down and take a quick break but it is a very good read.

In The Habit: Introduction to Changing Our Behaviour  By Ash Rnpura and Alice Fraser. An audible only feature but it is 100% recommended.

The History of The Medieval World   By Susan Wise Bauer, Narrated by John Lee. I just started this today and it has been very interesting to listen too so far!

There’s a start of a book funk happening, I love what I’ve read/listened to but am finding I want to branch out and find something new and exciting …a new adventure for an old soul if you will.
