What I’ve Been Up To The Past Few Weeks

I have a very mixed up sense of direction; it can lead to interesting adventures with me trying to find my way back to where I started.

I’d love to say I can find my way in the small town I grew up in, but I get lost there to the point I have google maps to make sure that I can find my way to where I need to be. When im in a new space or area, my phone is charged, and there is service to make sure I can find my way back; I love a good walk; it can be very relaxing and freeing.

I dont have too much to say for this post but walking and listening to good music, or a book is something I highly recommend if you need a break or just want to avoid having to interact with people and think. I’ve been listening to Celtic Mythology: The Tales of Gods, Goddesses and Heros by Phillip Freeman, and it’s a good listen so far; the narrator is a wonderful speaker and makes the work come to life. I sometimes switch it to Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman because I love the style and narration of the story, I didn’t like his for the longest time, but I didn’t give it more than a glance when I saw it because I didn’t think it would be something I liked.

I’ve been applying for jobs here while listening to the above and music during walks, cooking, and in general. Job searching kinda feels like selling your soul but in a good way, if that makes sense. Ive got a few emails back saying thank you for applying, but we aren’t going to go ahead with you, but we are keeping your information in case something comes up, which is better than not getting anything back. Between job searching, ive been walking around the area to get familiar and just adventure a bit.

While im not walking, im doing little things around the house like cooking, washing dishes, laundry, writing, crafting and playing Animal Crossing when thats all done. It’s been good for getting thoughts processed and putting them into posts for this blog, and in my journal at night, I know im going to have more blocks, but right now there is very little blockage (thankfully).

Thats all I have for today’s post, and to sum it up, it’s been productive, a touch chaotic, entertaining, reflective and quiet, so it’s been interesting and makes me feel more me, I guess for lack of a better word. I hope you’re having a lovely day and enjoying the spring weather thats slowly arriving.

Till Next Time,

Meg
