I feel like as ive gotten older, the definition of being an adult seems to change.
As a kid, I thought it was freeing; you didn’t have anyone telling you what to do, where to go and you had little stress. I used to think that being an adult was magical, things just happened, and life was something you could just pick up and find what you needed as it came.
As a teen, I still thought it would be freeing, sometimes stressful, flexible, and doing some good, even if something small.
As an adult now, I feel like it’s something thats both stressful and peaceful, with a touch of chaos here and there. Life is something that you either a) get steamrolled by or b) swim with the current and find your way to land.
If I were to go back to being a kid knowing what I know now, I think I would record everything as I see it and I would try to put it in a safe spot so I could share what I found here. It would be quite the trip and well worth the read, I feel like I could interview kids and find out but id like to see/live it again.
I dont have much else today so im going to be off, I hope you’re all enjoying a sweet treat and having a wonderful start to the week.
Till Next Time,
Meg
