My main language is english. I understand most basic and library terms in canadian french, some Korean, a very small amount of thai and an even smaller amount of mandarin. I wouldn’t say im fluent or even close to it at any besides english.
Canadian french – my family is french so i was often in quebec and it was essential in school so i also took french classes in elementary and in college (manditory for my degree).
Korean – I wanted to learn more so i could watch dramas without subtittles; its been like 13 years at this point and I know some phrases and can understand some lyrics/shows and reels I’ve seen!
Thai- from some dramas and music; they are amazing and fil the reality tv is boring me itch that comes every so often.
I learned some mandarin from one of my previous bosses and its not really any better now then it was at the time; I also havent really used it or heard it very much over the last decade.
