This will cover chapters 1-24. I’ve been listening to the audible version as I couldn’t sit and read it like i wanted to the past week; I had a copy from the library but it was such a busy week and i was too tired or not able to focus on it. It’s been really good, It’s been a while since I was talking and reacting to a book the way I am. I hate snow, I don’t like his mind but it makes some sense for how hes known in the later hunger games stories.
Lucy Gray Bard is my one of my favourite characters beside Tigris, shes a lovely girl and my heart is breaking for how her story is starting to go (for both of them).
Its been a very I’m seeing the change in how they deal with the tributes from the 75th games verses the 10th. I can’t help but compare the way they deal with the mentors, who they are and the drastic change in how they run things.
The story has been hooking me in with such a passion I’m looking forward to any chance to be able to listen to the story. Younger me didn’t count audio-books as reading and older me who is honestly too busy most days to sit and read like I want and crave. I’ll be listening to it on my way to work later today and may honestly finish it as I’m planning on listening while I do my workout and get ready for work here. I have to get ready for work here now and I will finish this review probably Monday (two days from now) but it will be more detailed as I haven’t finished the book quite yet and want to add more once I know the full story.
